The General Service Technician performs tire retail services, multi-point vehicle inspections, and diagnostic services in the retail center of our Fausak Tires & Service store location.

• Perform tire services such as mounting, balancing, and repairing.
• Perform oil changes, check, and add vital fluids.
• Service and install car batteries.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections.
  • Inspect belts and hoses.
  • Inspect and replace wipers
  • Replace air and cabin filters
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep the work area tidy, organized, and clean

• Speak, write, read, and understand English
• Learn and retain service guidelines, technical information, and specifications.
• Sit, stand, bend, and stoop, often for prolonged periods of time, and be able to maneuver or crawl in awkward positions on occasions.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions
• Have the strength and motor skills to handle small tools and parts
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Prior experience in automotive repair (preferred)
• Have basic computer skills.

Compensation: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
