Prosolia Energy now has a project portfolio of more than 4 GW. In order to build and develop this portfolio, as well as to achieve its strategic objectives, we are looking for talented, high potential professionals who wish to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
That's why we are looking for a Strategy and M&A Associate with experience in the energy sector to join our rapidly expanding team and work together with our Head of Strategy and M&A in shaping our strategy and driving inorganic growth.
Responsibilities- Support the Head of Strategy and M&A in defining the company strategy
- Perform recurrent analysis about new initiatives and their impact on the company business plan
- Support senior management in identifying targets, structuring offers for utility-scale and distributed energy projects, as well as corporate-level M&A transactions to drive business growth.
- Conduct detailed financial and strategic analysis of potential acquisitions, including renewable energy assets and corporate entities. Coordinate internal teams (technical, legal, and operational) for thorough evaluations of each opportunity.
- Engage directly with sellers and counter parties, negotiating deal structures and terms to secure the best commercial and strategic outcomes for both project-based and corporate M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with the Asset Management team on financial matters related to ongoing project operations and post-acquisition integration.
- Report regularly on the status, risks, and potential opportunities of ongoing transactions to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations and insights to inform decision-making.
- Experience of 4-6 years in strategy consulting, investment banking, M&A or private equity
, ideally in the Renewable Energies sector. - Outstanding track record with undergraduate degree in finance, economics or engineering and masters in Finance or M.B.A.
- Deep interest in the energy sector and finance.
- Excellent analytical skills, including extensive financial modeling experience.
- Fully fluent in English
