- Be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for 1- year‑old babies.
- Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P curriculum using fun and engaging characters, making the classroom a place where learning is fun.
- Build relationships with families and colleagues, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
- A genuine passion for the education and care of children and babies.
- At least 2+ years of professional teaching experience in a childcare facility caring for toddlers, infants, and/or babies (required). 3-4 years of experience with babies is preferred.
- CPR and first aid certification.
- Ability to meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.
- Credential options:
- CDA Credential: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition.
- Associate's Degree: An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
- Technical Certificates/Diplomas: A Technical College Diploma (TCD) or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree, especially in Early Childhood Education.
- Other Credentials: 25 quarter hours or 15 semester hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development may be accepted.
