Minimum QualificationsMaster’s Degree in assigned content area required. Ten years’ experience in education required. Teacher leader and/or administrative experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Assist the Coordinator with all aspects of the assigned content instruction using research-based instructional strategies.
- Provide support in the development of a comprehensive effort to ensure that all teachers are implementing evidence-based practices.
- Provide support and professional learning.
- Assist with selecting, developing, and aligning resources to the classroom.
- Monitor school system data to determine trends and develop and implement the most effective strategies for meeting and exceeding state and national student achievement goals.
- Promote effective instructional practices and communication that support high levels of instruction through the use of research-based data-driven best practices, effective classroom consultation, and program evaluation.
- Assist administrators and teachers in evaluating and improving classroom instruction.
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating results of District-wide assessments and recommend appropriate modifications.
- Assist in the planning and development of District and school-wide instructional in-service programs for school leaders, teachers, aides, and parent volunteers to assist in raising the level of instructional performance and student proficiency.
- Assist with the implementation of appropriate universal screening processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Possess and maintain valid and appropriate license, certificate and/or credential as may be required for this position.
- Follow work scheduling and attendance requirements in a regular, predictable and punctual manner.
- Follow federal and state laws and Board policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
