Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Teacher role based in Canton, GA. The Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, integrating Christian values in age-appropriate ways. Responsibilities include planning daily and long-term instruction, facilitating classroom activities, assessing student progress, and providing differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The Teacher will supervise students during class, recess, and other school activities, while maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
The role also involves communicating regularly with families and colleagues, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and supporting small-group tutoring and enrichment opportunities.
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience working with K–12 students.
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation that support diverse learners.
- Effective Communication and Training skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and partnering with families.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification or licensure preferred.
- Experience or interest in working in a Christian school environment and supporting faith-informed learning.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively, promote positive behavior, and create an inclusive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and openness to feedback and collaboration.
- Must be actively attending a local church.
