ASP Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Program (ASP) Teacher to join our team in Canton, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children participating in our after school program. This role involves planning and implementing activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.

Location: Canton, GA 30115

• Supervise and engage with children in the after school program, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that support academic and social growth.
• Assist children with homework and provide academic support as needed.
• Encourage positive behavior and foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Maintain accurate attendance and activity records.
• Collaborate with other staff members to continuously improve program quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and lead group activities.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
