Responsibilities include collaborating with co-teachers to complete daily activities, implementing curriculum, and assisting with diapering, feeding, cleaning, and sanitizing. What You’ll DoTeacher Responsibilities:
- Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
- Observe all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and applicable health and safety standards
- Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
- Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
- Implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the curriculum
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and confident decision-making
- Provide verbal recognition and consistent expectations for behavior
- Attend staff meetings and school functions; maintain professional appearance
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
- Satisfactory Background Check
- 18+ years old
- High school Diploma
- First Aid/CPR
