After School Program Secretary; M-F

After School Program Secretary (M-F, 3:00pm-6:00pm)

Cherokee County School District (GA) Holly Springs Elementary School – Canton, Georgia.

Pay Grade: $15 per hour

Pay Type: Hourly

Reports To: After School Program Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications: Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any GED testing program preferred.

Goal: Assist students, staff, and visitors in the school to maintain an efficient, courteous, and orderly environment.

Job Duties:

• Answers telephone
• Checks identifications of all persons picking up students
• Calls students for check-out once  approved
• Copies materials utilized in ASP
• Attends ASP staff meetings as needed
• Administers medication and first aid - must be trained by Lead Nurse in Lay Clinic Training
• Ensures adherence to good safety procedures
• Follows federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

This position is a temporary assignment; payment based on hours worked, and as work is available, with no eligibility or seniority for employee benefits. All employees are eligible to participate in the CCSD 403(b) or 457(b) retirement savings account.
