Core Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Architecture: Lead, design, and oversee comprehensive civil engineering plans for complex commercial, residential, mixed-use, and municipal land development projects.
  • Hydrologic Mastery: Direct the engineering of advanced site grading, complex drainage networks, comprehensive utility systems, and cutting-edge stormwater management solutions.
  • Project Stewardship: Manage and execute project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables from initial concept planning through final construction administration.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Champion local, state, and federal permitting efforts, serving as the primary liaison with municipal authorities and Cherokee County regulatory bodies to secure seamless project entitlements.
  • System Integration: Perform and validate rigorous hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard engineering software to ensure complete system integrity.
  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Synthesize and streamline communications between clients, surveyors, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous reviews of construction plans, technical specifications, and engineering reports to enforce top-tier quality control standards.
  • Elite Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and CAD designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Field Command: Conduct rigorous site visits to provide technical resolution during construction administration, ensuring the physical execution matches engineering intent.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Georgia.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated civil engineering experience strictly focused on land development and site design.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced command of AutoCAD Civil 3D alongside professional experience with drainage software such as Hydraflow, Storm

    CAD, or equivalent tools.
  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in erosion and sediment control, site grading, utility design, and Georgia permitting processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced Differentiator: 7+ years of progressive land development experience with a proven track record of handling high-value projects.
