Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analyses, and performance dashboards.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis and recommendations to improve operational performance.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to evaluate business trends, margin drivers, and cost initiatives.
  • Prepare executive‑level presentations for leadership, lenders, and the Board.
  • Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial reporting and planning cycles.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics that drive accountability and align with company objectives.
  • Support pricing strategies, capital planning, and ROI analysis for strategic projects.
  • Implement enhancements to planning tools, data structures, and reporting automation.
  • Ensure alignment between financial forecasts and operational assumptions across the organization.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Accounting to ensure consistent financial data and support month‑end reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A staff; recruit as needed to support business growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and executive‑level reporting.
  • Background in manufacturing, services, distribution, or related industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner with operational leaders and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Net Suite Planning, or similar) a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Highly proactive, analytical, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
