Salary:
Competitive Pay $19‑23/hr plus shift differentials (based on experience, location, certifications).

Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with completion of resident activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other basic needs.
  • Perform vital signs on residents at the beginning of each shift and as directed.
  • Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in resident’s behavior, emotional state, or physical condition.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assist in transporting residents as needed.
  • Provide companionship to residents.
  • Ensure the safety of our residents.
  • Assist with motivating residents to keep them active and engaged.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a current GNA certification and license in Maryland.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Team‑oriented work style.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Calmness and patience when dealing with residents.
  • Attentive listening.
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Willingness to navigate changes in assignments.
  • Empathy and compassion while interacting with residents to increase their comfort level.
