Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community based social service organization that provides therapeutic services to the community. We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. to serve children, adolescent and adults in Canton Ga and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner include:

• Provides diagnoses, psychiatric treatment and consultation to the team.

• Clinical expertise and competence in providing direct services.

• Must be able to build strong working relationships with the clients

• Must have experience in working with youth and families with both mental illness and substance use disorders.

• Document all services in electronic health record

• Adhere to authorization requirements per insurance guidelines.

Job Type:
Contract status, Part-Time up to Full-Time

Requirements

Requirements for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:

• Must submit a valid and official transcript showing proof of degree awarded.

• Preferred:
Nurse Practitioner - Certified in Georgia

• Collaborative Agreement with MD

• Two or more years of training and experience diagnosing, treating and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment of children, adolescents and adults

• Must practice by the ethical standards of the professional association and state board.

• Be of good character, and supportive of the programs, policies, and ideals of Goshen Valley Foundation.

• Complete and pass a criminal background check (DHS OIG) and other safety screenings and drug screen

Salary Description

$80 per client session
