Disinfects, sterilizes, and assembles surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Position is characterized by the ability to recognize surgical instruments and surgical instrument trays typically assembled in applicable area.

• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.

• Central Service Technician Certification:
• Inpatient sterile processing CRCST or CSPDT certification.
• Outpatient sterile processing CRCST, CSPDT or CASSPT certification.
• For GI Labs, CFER is acceptable.
• For Surgical Services:
  Accepted into the Northside SPD Internship or a Graduate of an accredited program in Sterile Processing or a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program with less than 12 months experience.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
Work Hours:

3 pm - 11:30 pm
