IntroOur AmLaw 100 client is expanding a high-performing IP litigation group handling complex patent and technical trade secret disputes. The platform spans Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, with national trial experience and PTAB depth.
Role Summary- Litigate patent and technical trade secret matters in federal courts and at the PTAB
- Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, take and defend depositions
- Work directly with partners, in-house counsel, and experts on strategy, damages, and trial prep
- Collaborate across offices on cutting-edge technologies spanning software, semiconductors, life sciences, and mechanical systems
- JD class years 2019–2022
- Strong academic record and substantive IP litigation experience, with patent and/or technical trade secrets focus
- Undergraduate degree in EE, CE, CS, ME, ChemE, Biomed
E, or similar highly preferred - Judicial clerkship valued, with particular interest in CAFC experience
- Matters that move the needle: high-stakes disputes with sophisticated clients and technical depth

- National platform: coordinated trial teams and PTAB capabilities across key tech hubs
Transparent compensation and benefits: base salary $260,000 to $390,000, plus discretionary performance bonus; comprehensive health care, retirement plan, paid vacation and sick time, parental leave, basic life insurance, and FSAs. Compensation within range depends on qualifications and operational factors. Locations include DAL, DEN, HOU, LAX, NYC, PAL, SFO, and WAS.
