Production Manager

Summary

This role involves strategizing, overseeing, and orchestrating work activities and resources to ensure the manufacturing of products aligns with specified cost, quality, and quantity standards.

• Manages the production activities of the shop floor.
• Supervises all production operations such as machining, processing, and assembly.
• Reviews processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Reviews operations reports and confers with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Supervises production staff supervisors and/or group leaders.

Educational/

Experience:

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and at least six years of progressive manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.

Key technical skills:
Strong understanding of electrical/electronic manufacturing processes, quality control, cost management, and effective use of the SAP system, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control. Familiarity with operations management concepts and safety requirements is also essential.

Language skills:
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, proficiency in both verbal and written communication, and strong analytical and reasoning ability. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Reasoning ability:
Strong reasoning and analytical skills.
