Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit night shift position requiring BLS, NRP, and IV start experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital family centered care area serving neonates requiring intensive support
- Provides care for newborns in the gray area between well-baby and NICU levels
- 12-hour night shifts with a varied schedule (6:30pm–6:30am), three shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include caring for neonates needing specialized support short of full NICU admission
- Must request all time off prior to offer; post-offer requests not permitted
- Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Must provide documentation for credentialing prior to start
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- IV start experience required
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break between assignments
