Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA. ED features: 33-bed ED; 7 Health Express (Urgent Care) rooms; 57,000 annual patient visits; 49 hours of physician coverage and 50 hours of APP coverage per day.

Position responsibilities

• Provide urgent/emergency medical care in the ED setting for adult and pediatric patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Participate in coverage schedules and respond to patient needs during shifts as assigned (ED and urgent care settings as applicable).

Qualifications

• Current and valid certification as Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Eligibility for state licensure in Georgia; current ACLS and BLS required; additional emergency medicine credentials a plus.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
