The Oncology team is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care using the latest treatment approaches in a collaborative clinical environment.
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a 13-week travel assignment supporting the Oncology Clinic at Atlanta Cancer Care in Canton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within the specialty, strong clinical skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Perform patient assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and treatment support.
- Assist with patient education regarding medications, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.
- Ensure a compassionate and supportive experience for patients and their families.
- Active LPN/LVN license in the State of Georgia (or compact license if applicable).
- Minimum 2 Years Of Recent Experience Within The Specialty.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an outpatient oncology setting.
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Travel candidates only (local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible). - Compliance requirements must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the assignment start date.
