Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week
Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum – Travel ContractJob Title: Registered Nurse – Mother Baby
Department: 649C Family Centered Care – RN Mother Baby
Location: Canton, GA 30115
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Shift: 3×12-hour shifts / 36 hours per week
Local Candidates: No local candidates within 50 miles
Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby / Postpartum nursing experience
AHA BLS certification required
NRP certification required
IV Start experience preferred
Experience with
postpartum couplet care / Mother Baby care
Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
Provide couplet care
, caring for mother and newborn together
Perform maternal and newborn assessments and monitor for changes in condition
Support breastfeeding, newborn care, and parent education
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Initiate and maintain IV therapy as needed
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide safe discharge education and support for new parents
Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital policies
