We are currently hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative (CSR) with availability for overnight and weekend shifts
. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced veterinary or healthcare client service professionals who thrive in fast-paced ER medicine and bring empathy, composure, and professionalism to high-stress situations.

Success in this role requires emotional intelligence, composure, efficiency, and genuine empathy.

  • Greet and assess incoming emergency patients
  • Identify urgent (“stat”) cases and communicate immediately with medical staff
  • Maintain calm and control during high-stress arrivals
  • Support pet owners through medical emergencies and difficult decisions
  • Provide clear explanations regarding processes, estimates, and hospital flow
  • Assist during sensitive end-of-life situations with discretion and respect
  • Manage multi-line phone systems and high call volumes
  • Accurately document medical records and client information
  • Process payments and maintain financial accuracy
  • Keep the reception area organized and professional
  • Work closely with veterinarians and technicians in a fast-paced ER environment
  • Support patient flow and communication between departments
  • Contribute to a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable availability for overnight, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Ability to lift 30–50 pounds

  • Background in high-volume medical or hospital environments

Core Traits for Success:

  • Calm under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Deep empathy and emotional maturity
  • Strong multitasking ability
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor in emotionally intense situations

Emergency medicine is not routine. It is unpredictable, fast-moving, and deeply meaningful. We are seeking individuals who respect that responsibility.
