HORSEMEN INVESTIGATIONS & SECURITY is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Canton, GA. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in keeping people, property, and assets safe while working with a professional and respected security firm. • Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
• Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established protocols
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
• Control access points by verifying credentials and screening visitors
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Deter criminal activity through a visible and professional security presence

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Georgia Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
