Electrician

TEP Electric LLC is a professional electrical contracting company serving North Georgia. We specialize in residential service and commercial electrical projects including retail, office, restaurants, tenant improvements, remodels, and ground-up construction. We are seeking an experienced Service Electrician to independently operate a company service van while performing residential and light commercial electrical service, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations throughout North Georgia. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently, communicating professionally with customers, accurately diagnosing electrical issues, and identifying opportunities to improve customer safety and code compliance. While this position is primarily service-focused, candidates with some commercial construction experience are preferred and may periodically assist on commercial projects when service demand allows.

• Independently manage and operate an assigned company service vehicle.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems with minimal supervision.
• Install panels, branch circuits, lighting, EV chargers, generators, surge protection, and related electrical equipment.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer safety, code compliance, and electrical system performance by recommending additional services when appropriate.
• Document work performed, materials used, photographs, and recommendations accurately using company software.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of assigned service vehicle.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics when required.
• Assist on commercial construction projects as workload requires.
• Follow all NEC requirements and company safety policies.

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience with demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Must be capable of independently managing daily service calls, maintaining an assigned company service vehicle, and completing jobs with minimal supervision while providing exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience operating a residential or commercial service van preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and explain repair recommendations.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and customer-specific site requirements.
