Are you a high-level technician who thrives on solving complex mechanical puzzles? We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our client's team. This isn't just a "fix-it" job—it’s a critical role maintaining massive aluminum extrusion presses, heavy-duty material handling systems, and sophisticated thermal processing equipment.

Training & Schedule Info:
Starting pay is $34.20/hr during the training period, which is M-F, 7a-3p, for ~ 90 days. Following completion of training, the new hire will then move to their assigned shift. Available assigned shifts include the following:
- Weekday nights, 7p-7a;
Mon-Wed one week and Mon-Thu the next. - Weekend nights, 7p-7a;
Fri-Sun one week and Thur-Sun the next.

- Systems Diagnosis & Overhaul: Troubleshoot, install, and overhaul complex machine tools, special-purpose machines, and heavy plant equipment with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical Repair: Dismantle malfunctioning machinery, assess repair needs, and replace or refurbish worn internal components (bearings, gearboxes, and drive systems).
- Precision Fluid Power Maintenance: Diagnose and repair high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including proportional valves, servo valves, and variable displacement pumps.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute rigorous PM schedules to ensure equipment longevity and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Fabrication & Welding: Conduct structural welding, torch cutting, and custom metal fabrication to support machine repairs and facility upgrades.
- Facilities Support: General plant upkeep, including maintenance of cooling towers and compressed air headers.
- Fluid Power: High-pressure ram/cylinder maintenance, oil filtration management, and pneumatic solenoid service.
- Precision Mechanics: Laser and dial-indicator alignment, large-bore bearing installation, and multi-stage gearbox overhauling.
- Schematic Literacy: Advanced proficiency in interpreting mechanical blueprints and circuit schematics.
- Thermal & Material Handling: Repair of conveyor chains, high-temperature blower fans, and press die slides.
- Fabrication: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding plus industrial torch cutting.
