We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer‑based systems. You will work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This position is hybrid and requires some onsite customer support in Augusta, GA.

The role allows partial telework.

• Design, develop, and implement complex software components.
• Collaborate with engineers to create solutions that meet client needs.
• Stay up‑to‑date with modern tools and technologies.
• Work on customer site in Augusta, GA 2–3 days a week; travel up to 10% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Master’s degree;
  High School Diploma with nine years of experience is acceptable.
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, modern Java frameworks and libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava).
• Experience designing enterprise APIs, RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with OOP paradigms, Linux operating system, configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers daily.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance certification required (Security+).
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time and work on customer site in Augusta, GA 2–3 days a week.

• Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWS Infrastructure, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).

  SQL databases, full text‑search engines (Elasticsearch, Mongo
  
  DB, Solr).
• Scripting experience.
• Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform.
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies and use of standard software development tool suites (JIRA, Confluence, Git Hub Enterprise).
• Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java based software capabilities.
• Excellent testing skills and a curious, responsive attitude.

Salary range: $150,000 – $275,000 depending on education and experience.
