As a Parcel Packer, you will be responsible for accurately boxing and packaging customer orders that do not meet the LTL criteria. Team members are expected to cross‑train in other warehouse functions, including parcel picking, as part of our culture of "We Move to the Work," supporting skill development and operational efficiency.
ScheduleMonday‑Friday 8:00 am‑6:00 pm
Additional overtime, early arrivals, or extended hours may be required based on business needs.
- Pick items to accurately fulfill customer orders
- Build and assemble boxes or other packaging materials to ensure safe shipment
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit
- Read and interpret pick tickets to verify correct items and quantities
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Apply shipping labels to completed orders and stage for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to read and interpret customer orders and safety procedures
- Willingness to cross‑train and support multiple warehouse functions
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be willing to train and become certified on warehouse equipment within the first 90 days
- Team‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with team assistance
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and overhead lifting
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small items
