Engagement SpecialistHours:
Variable – 24 hours per week
Salary:
Competitive pay based on qualifications, experience, and credentials (starting at $15.21/hour)
- Serves as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recovering individuals to promote long‑term recovery
- Works with individuals on how to verbalize triggers and warning signs and reviews these in acceptable settings
- Assists with development of safety plan and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) and toolbox
- Provides support during crisis events by working with crisis intervention specialists to coach individuals on management of stress and current problems
- Provides follow‑up care to individuals who previously experienced a crisis event to ensure linkage to appropriate services and review crisis safety plan
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal experience related to behavioral health
- CRSS certification and WRAP certification within 2 years of hire
