The Specialty Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant(PA) works with a collaborating physician in an active practice at Graham Medical Group to deliver specialty health care services to patients appropriate for the specific area of expertise.

  • Graduate of an accredited Master’s Degree program for Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant
  • Board certified as an Advanced Practice Nurseor Physician Assistant by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Current licensure to practice as an APRN orPA in the State of Illinois
  • Current licensure to prescribe controlled substances in the State of Illinois, if appropriate for scope of services provided
  • Current life support certification (BLS or ACLS)
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as amid-level provider
