Registered Nurses will coordinate the nursing care for the infant, child, adolescent,adult, and geriatric patient in the holding and post anesthesia care areas. Each will workcooperatively with other patient care personnel inside and outside the department to coordinate continuity of care for patients and families throughout the surgical process while maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. The person in this position is accountable to the Director of Surgery.

Must exhibit guest relation skills.

• Candidate must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
• A minimum of one year medical/surgical
  
  Experience preferred
• Must be registered in the state of Illinois
• Current CPR certification
• Must become and maintain certification inACLS and PALS if not already certified.
