Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Staff Accountant, located in Canton, MA, with opportunities to work remotely for part of the week. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing general ledger accounting functions, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and assisting with audits and tax filings. The role also involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the finance department with ad hoc projects.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, compliance standards, and tax regulations
  • Skills in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Quick Books, Excel)
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or a related industry is an advantage
