Vaco is partnering directly with the CFO of a growing manufacturing company seeking a hands‑on Cost Accountant to support plant operations. Contract opening starts immediately.

When:
Immediate Need
Pay: $55‑$65/hour
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and maintain standard costs
, variances, and inventory reporting - Partner with plant leadership on cost control and efficiency initiatives
- Support month‑end close
, including journal entries and reconciliations - Evaluate manufacturing KPIs
, margins, and production performance - Assist with budgeting and forecasting for plant operations
- Strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of plant operations and inventory accounting
- Advanced Excel skills (ERP experience preferred)
Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
