KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in South Shore MA that is looking for a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join their team.

This position will be hybrid and is paying between $30-60/hr depending on experience.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional who can step in quickly, work independently, and provide immediate support to the team. The role will have meaningful client exposure and hands-on responsibility across a variety of individual and business tax engagements.

The responsibilities for the role will include:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations
• Manage tax engagements from planning through completion, including research and resolution of technical tax issues
• Communicate with clients on tax questions and planning while assisting with special projects and tax planning
• Review staff work, provide guidance, and manage workloads and deadlines while staying current on tax regulations

The experience required for the role:

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience preparing individual and business tax returns, preferably for closely held businesses and individual clients
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills with the ability to work independently and learn quickly

Compensation:$30-60/hr (DOE)
