Learn more about who we are Summary The Senior BA leads the analysis and documentation of business requirements and processes, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. This role requires strong leadership skills, advanced analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of business and technology integration.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and functional specifications
Identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and team performance
Support implementation of requirements to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory obligations in conjunction with the Business areas
Collaborate with business units to monitor, research, triage, escalate, and report on internal/external issues, risks and requests regarding sensitive member information and product materials
Develop/maintain dashboards and internal metrics/KPI reporting using tools like Sharepoint, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.
Analyze performance data to generate insights and support decision-making
Support implementation of requirements to ensure alignment with contractual and regulatory obligations
Analyze and document complex business processes, systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities /Duties – what you will be doing (top five):
Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
Analyze and document complex business processes and systems.
Identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to ensure alignment of business goals with technology solutions.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior business analysts.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed projects.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of software and vendors.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status and issues effectively.
Conduct user acceptance testing and coordinate deployment activities.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job Certification and Licensure Education Required (minimum):
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Documentation, Health Care Administration or related field.
Experience Required (minimum): 3-5 years of professional experience
Preferred: 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Skill Requirements Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
Advanced knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies.
