Learn more about who we are Summary The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of product strategies for assigned product lines or markets within the health insurance organization. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to assist in implementing new product initiatives and enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
The Product Manager gathers input from internal and external stakeholders, supports the product roadmap, and contributes to the overall success of the product portfolio.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities /Duties – what you will be doing (top five):
Develop and support the implementation of product strategies for assigned product lines and/or geographic regions, typically focusing on shorter-term objectives under the guidance of senior leadership.
Participate in cross-functional teams to assist with assessing and implementing new or enhanced product designs and programs, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with organizational goals.
Meet with internal and external stakeholders, including market teams, brokers, accounts, vendors, and government agencies, to gather feedback and help incorporate the voice of the customer into the product roadmap.
Assist in the development of new products and features, product enhancements, line extensions, portfolio revisions, and product discontinuation as directed to support market position, membership goals, and profitability targets.
Support financial modeling and analysis for product lines, translating findings into actionable recommendations in collaboration with senior team members.
Monitor and report on the performance of assigned products, including profitability, customer satisfaction, membership growth/retention, and operational outcomes, and provide input for potential course corrections based on established metrics.
Work with other teams to help create product collateral, marketing materials, and communications, as well as to support internal and external training initiatives. Assist in mapping and managing the customer experience for assigned product lines.
Support the management of vendor relationships as appropriate for the product line. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Preferred:
Master’s degree
Experience
Required:
5-7 years of related work experience
Preferred: 5-7 years of product management, strategic planning, project management, marketing, or healthcare sales experience.
Skill Requirements Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to support cross-functional team activities.
Possesses effective interpersonal and teamwork skills; able to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
Shows solid organizational and facilitation skills, with the ability to help resolve routine conflicts.
Adapts well to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is open to learning new approaches.
Works well with others, is flexible, and receptive to feedback and new ideas.
Communicates clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats, including presentations.
