About This Role

The Service Manager will lead field technicians and operations professionals to efficiently execute planned maintenance, repair, overhaul, and installation projects in an effort to exceed the expectations of our customers and meet revenue and margin targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the commercial air conditioning business including relationship management, talent development, field operations, and safety. The position is based in Southern New Hampshire, Northern Massachusetts, Vermont, or Maine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Service & Optimization guidelines and best practices are followed.
  • Proactively identify actions, perform offline tasks assigned in DMBs, and elevate blockers to improve KPI performance and field operations.
  • Attend daily DMB meetings and discuss progress on relevant KPIs.
  • Maintain environmental, health and safety compliance; deliver mandatory training.
  • Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy and efficient accounts receivable management.
  • Resolve warranty issues, recall notices, and operational problems with sold and serviced products.
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatch of personnel by skill, efficiency, and training requirements.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train field technicians to meet workload demands.
  • Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and identify opportunities for additional service.
  • Supervise field technicians to perform repairs, maintenance, start‑up and related duties.
  • Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan.
  • Prioritize and resolve issues faced by the team.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with customers, collecting feedback and establishing improved satisfaction plans.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing/leading a team of technicians.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Must possess technical aptitude, knowledge of local building codes, and ability to use resources to develop solutions.
  • Proficiency in common office applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and understanding of Salesforce, Service Max, ERP and similar systems.
Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $ annually. Factors which may affect pay include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Other Compensation

Short‑term cash incentives may be earned subject to applicable plan requirements.
