New England Life Care currently has an opening for a Contract and Compliance Administrator.This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. The normal schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Summary:

The Contract and Compliance Administrator is responsible for overseeing contract lifecycle management and ensuring organizational adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal compliance requirements. This role operates as a highly independent individual contributor, partnering cross-functionally to mitigate risk, support operational effectiveness, and ensure alignment with applicable laws, policies, and contractual obligations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts (e.g., payer agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, amendments) and manage the full contract lifecycle, including intake, redlining, execution, tracking, and renewals.
  • Ensure contract terms align with organizational goals, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the contract repository with accurate documentation, version control, and audit readiness, and serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries across departments.
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and industry-specific regulations; monitor regulatory changes, assess organizational impact, and recommend and implement necessary updates.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring compliance with Reimbursement, CMS guidelines, and other applicable healthcare or industry regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and implement corrective actions and support external audits and regulatory reviews as needed.
  • Identify contractual and operational risks and provide mitigation strategies, collaborating with legal, finance, and operational teams to evaluate risk exposure.
  • Partner with divisional teams to ensure alignment on contracting and compliance matters, provide guidance and training to stakeholders, and act as a subject matter expert to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline contract and compliance workflows, implement and optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and compliance tools, and utilize existing reporting and dashboards to track contract status, compliance metrics, and risk indicators.

Qualifications / Skills That Contribute to Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (MBA, or master’s in healthcare/Admin/Compliance) preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in contracting, compliance, legal operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in healthcare, home infusion, or highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal / state fraud and abuse laws.
  • Familiarity with CMS, HIPAA, OIG guidance, and/or other relevant industry regulations.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and regulatory frameworks.
