Construction Foreman
Aerotek is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman for a growing civil construction and site development company supporting large-scale projects throughout Massachusetts' South Shore region. This individual will lead a field crew of up to five operators and laborers, oversee daily construction activities, review project plans, manage materials, and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Foreman will report directly to the VP of Construction and utilize Procore to manage project information and field documentation.
Lead and supervise a crew of up to five operators and laborers on site development and civil construction projects.
Coordinate daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, track progress, and communicate updates.
Monitor and track materials on-site to ensure availability and accurate inventory management.
Operate or oversee operation of equipment including excavators, dozers, forklifts, backhoes, and grinding equipment.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Work closely with the VP of Construction and project stakeholders to resolve field issues and maintain project timelines.
Inspect ongoing and completed work to verify quality and adherence to project specifications.
Train, mentor, and develop crew members while promoting a strong safety culture.
Experience as a Construction Foreman leading crews of 5-10 employees.
Experience in site development, civil construction, or utility construction.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
Experience with utility construction, underground utilities, and site work projects.
Proven experience supervising and coordinating field personnel.
Knowledge of heavy equipment operations and site construction practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
Ability to travel between project sites throughout the South Shore and surrounding areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, MA.
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
