Hours/week: 40 hours per week
Position:
Temporary from 25 June 2026 to 18 July 2026
Exemption:
Non-exempt
Pay Range: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour (starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications)
Serve as a functioning member of The Salvation Army Massachusetts Divisional Music Department for Music Conservatory and Music Camp
Responsibilities- Work with the Divisional Music Director to prepare all aspects of summer music programs
- Participate in pre-camp orientation sessions and necessary certifications
- Plan for teaching of major classes, theory/technique, and elective classes as assigned
- Assist in planning fun events and activities
- Assist in planning devotional sessions
- Assist Music Director in any task as assigned
- Serve as a counselor during Music Conservatory
- Assist in check-in and check-out procedures as assigned
- Help clean, serve lunch/snacks, or any logistical task as needed
- Be willing to serve as a chaperone on any off-campus trips
- Work with the Music Director to prepare and implement finale performances including the preparation of all awards and certificates for students
- Assist the Music Director in the clean-up, filing, and closing of summer music programs
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or enrolled in High School
Work Experience: Have experience supervising and/or teaching children

Qualifications:
Proficiency in performing and teaching a music discipline; must have valid driver’s license
