Salary: $125 to $125 Per Day

HOURS:

7:40am - 2:30pm as needed during 180 day school year

COMPENSATION: $125.00/day

• Must be punctual, reliable, flexible, and willing to accept daily assignments
• Report to the academic or vocational office upon arrival to receive the daily assignment by 7:40 AM and remain in the school building until 2:20 PM
• Follow the absent teacher's lesson plans and class expectations outlined in the substitute folder
• Assist with all aspects of the daily routine, including distributing and collecting supplies and keeping attendance records
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom
• Supervise students to ensure their safety and welfare
• Reports any student-related injury, accident, illness, or discipline problem immediately to the lead teacher
• Keep a daily log about the progress of the day and leave it for the regular teacher
• Clean teaching area at the end of the day. Put all the equipment and materials away
• Adheres to all Blue Hills Regional Technical School policies and procedures
• Uses appropriate judgment to act in the best interest of students at all times
• Maintains appropriate dress and a professional appearance
• Maintain confidentiality at all times in the classroom, school, and community
• Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator
