Commissioning Supervisor

Commissioning Supervisor‑Level 2 position is based in Juno Beach, FL. This is a 1‑year contract assignment. (W‑2) You will direct the planning, execution, and testing of new construction power plant commissioning within defined budgets, schedules, and environmental targets. You will directly work with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, OEM equipment suppliers, off‑taker Utilities, and regional transmission system operators. You will also work with Operations and staff organizations to develop an integrated commissioning plan and to manage issues as they arise.

Through system turnover walkdowns and execution of Verification and Validation checks, we assure that it accepts a quality product meeting the project's performance goals from the construction contractor(s) in the required sequence. It then tests the product and turns it over to Operations.

• Lead commissioning efforts for power plant construction projects.
• Develop integrated commissioning plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety requirements.
• Provide technical oversight to contractors and commissioning teams.
• Coordinate resolution of operational issues during startup and testing.

  Understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.

• Education:
  
  Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6 or more years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hr. to $60.00/hr.
