- Support Project Managers in the execution of assigned fire protection projects from kickoff through closeout.
- Assist with project planning, documentation, and coordination to support schedule and budget objectives.
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, and vendors in a professional and respectful manner.
- Participate in project meetings and attend job sites as required.
- Assist with tracking materials, procurement, and project deliverables.
- Learn and promote a strong commitment to safety for all team members on all projects.
- Develop strong working relationships with field teams and customers.
- Assist in developing an understanding of project contracts and scope of delivery.
- Support tracking of contract schedule dates and coordination with design, procurement, and field teams.
- Assist with documenting scope deviations and preparation of RFIs and change documentation as required.
- Support material procurement and coordination of subcontracted scopes of work.
- Participate in Work in Progress meetings and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
- Learn applicable codes, standards, and project specifications relevant to fire protection projects.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to two years of experience in construction, fire protection, engineering, project coordination, or a related role.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and motivated to learn with the ability to work with guidance and supervision.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field.
- Exposure to fire protection, construction, or MEP industries.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with applicable building codes or industry standards.
- Interest in pursuing future certifications such as NICET.
