Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position is based in Canton, Massachusetts, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations by ensuring accuracy and efficiency in bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and have a solid understanding of financial principles.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

- Utilize Quick Books software to track, record, and organize financial data.

- Generate and review financial reports to assist with budgeting and decision-making.

- Maintain organized documentation of all financial transactions and records.

- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and accurate records.

- Identify discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues promptly.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

- Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting financial needs. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Familiarity with financial reporting and documentation standards.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
