We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP Finance/Controller to join our team in the Distribution industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit management. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability. The candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with a solid understanding of the Bill of Materials, Manufacturing, Cost, and Physical Inventory, Consolidations, etc.

• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and treasury.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and ensure compliance.
• Establish and implement a financial planning process, including annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to develop financial strategies and make informed financial decisions.
• Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities, including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
• Manage the physical inventory process, ensuring accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting.
• Understand and manage the Bill of Materials and manufacturing cost structures to ensure accurate product costing and profitability analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Distribution or Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials, Manufacturing, Cost, and Physical Inventory.
• Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
