We are currently looking for an Executive Housekeeper to join our team. Our property features 98 spacious suites with full kitchens, and is located just south of Boston. Nearby attractions include the 128 corridor to Boston, Gillette Stadium, Legacy Place, Blue Hills Reservation, and Trillium Brewing. Guests enjoy a self-serve beer and wine station and complimentary breakfast every morning. The Homewood Suites is one of 50 hotel properties owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Role:

This position is responsible for the operation and management of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum service quality. Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel including rooms and public areas.

  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.
  • Supervises employees in housekeeping department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

What You Bring:

High School diploma or equivalent and three years experience in housekeeping in a hotel or similar industry, including two years in a supervisory capacity. Computer knowledge including intranet and property management system. Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
