The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our IT team in our Canton, MA;
Farmington, CT;
Salem, VA or Boston, MA offices on a hybrid schedule. The Senior Dev Ops Engineer leads the design and evolution of CI/CD pipelines and container delivery patterns as we expand our use of AKS. This hands‑on role blends platform engineering, Dev Ops automation, and technical leadership to improve reliability, scalability and security of application delivery.
- Design and own CI/CD pipeline standards using Git Hub Actions
- Define container build, image management, and deployment standards
- Lead CI/CD integration with AKS, including deployment and promotion models
- Establish and maintain Helm‑based deployment patterns
- Mentor Dev Ops engineers and provide technical leadership
- Partner with cloud and security teams to align platform standards
- Identify and reduce technical debt across pipelines and delivery tooling
- Continuously improve reliability, operability and developer experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields, or equivalent work experience required.
- 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops, platform engineering, or cloud engineering roles
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Git Hub Actions and reusable pipeline design
- Extensive experience with Docker and container build best practices
- Experience deploying and operating containerized applications on Kubernetes
- Strong automation and scripting background.
- Observability and monitoring experience
- Deep AKS experience (cluster operations knowledge helpful, but not required)
- Git Ops principles applied to platform and pipeline design
- Exposure to regulated or enterprise environments
- Familiarity with progressive delivery techniques (blue/green, canary)
- Experience designing environment promotion and release strategies
Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The typical base salary range for this position is: $137,000 - $182,000. In addition to base salary, full‑time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
