Regional Manager

Candidate must be located in or around South Boston.

About the Role

The Regional Manager will achieve results by building high-performing teams, achieving operational effectiveness, maximizing on growth opportunities, maintaining a strong hold on key organizational initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation across portfolio offices.

The Regional Manager will be fully engaged and heavily involved in driving day-to-day performance of assigned offices and effectively managing all expense control measures. The successful candidate will enjoy building relationships at all levels of management. A high level of collaboration is required with office management, clinical and non-clinical staff, Regional Partners, and the Executive Leadership team regarding company initiatives, dental office management, revenue growth, collections, profitability, communication, motivation, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead regional operations team with strong guidance and inspiration to excel in all areas of day-to-day operations.

• Provide direction and support to direct reports; raise awareness of operational priorities and daily management of effective and productive office operations.

• Identify and recruit high-caliber talent and continuously build a healthy pipeline of future managers and operators.

• Operate as a coach and mentor to all Office Managers and team members; provide guidance and support to build self-reliance and effective routines.

• Actively participate in conducting provider and staff interviews and take initiative and ownership of effective onboarding of new hires.

Operational Excellence

• Actively manage patient complaints and resolve outstanding issues within 24 hours by working with all relevant parties.

• Provide leadership, direction, and communication to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly budget results and related operating goals.

• Coordinate action plans with each Office Manager to improve underperforming areas of operations with adequate and timely follow-up.

• Conduct weekly visits to each office to establish consistent, effective, and active presence, and conduct operations and performance audits.

• Anticipate problems and respond in a timely manner to operational and clinical challenges while working collaboratively to deliver expected outcomes.

Compliance & Administration

• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Provide constructive feedback to direct reports; address performance and personnel matters promptly in partnership with Human Resources and other stakeholders.

• Achieve timely implementation of company procedures and requirements for new hires, transfers, and status changes throughout the region.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Multi-unit, P&L management experience required.

• Dental industry experience preferred.

• Prior M&A and integration experience a plus.

• Extensive travel required within assigned region.
