Machine Operator

Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator in the Canton, MA area!

This role is a 3rd shift position responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of key equipment, supporting smooth production flow, and maintaining strong communication with both maintenance and quality teams.

• Oversee the startup, shutdown, and daily operation of production equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and respond appropriately to issues.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, maintenance, and management.
• Identify and report hazards, anomalies, and concerns promptly to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with Maintenance and Quality Assurance teams.
• Participate in daily pre-shift starter meetings and engage in the Sika Safe safety program.
• Provide operator coverage during breaks as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read and write in English.
• Familiarity with operating touch-screen (PLC) production lines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• Flexibility to work overtime and cover alternate shifts with prior notice.
