Automated Logic- BAS​/BMS Lead Field Technician

About the role

As a Lead Field Technician, you will be the expert voice on‑site, leading complex commissioning, solving deep system problems, and shaping how buildings perform. You’ll mentor newer technicians, partner with strong project teams, and deliver the precision work our customers remember.

• Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms (WebCTRL®, Niagara, Schneider, Honeywell).
• Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or Lon Works.
• Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports; manage secure network connections.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Deliver customer training and ensure systems perform exactly as promised.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field.
• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade.
• Capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Valid and current Driver’s License and must be insurable under the company’s insurance.

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Proficient with advanced building automation software such as WebCTRL, and installing building automation controls.
• Ability to navigate and integrate into a variety of building automation systems.
• Expert with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
• Experience interacting with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of multiple disciplines.
• Ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 and $, depending on skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
