Job Overview
Sika is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join its growing team in the Canton, MA area for our Roofing business. The Machine Operator will work Shift A which is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Wednesday from 6am to 6pm.
Responsibilities- Support a PLC‑controlled 120‑wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line
- Set up, operate, break down and clean all components
- Develop proper processing parameters during operation to optimize line speeds and yields
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials to workstations
- Ensure proper quality review of the product on assigned workstations
- Follow all company policies, including environmental policy, and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect the work area or company property
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned
