Dual Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC and FNP-BC/FNP-C)
Dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner to provide contracted services for weight loss, hormone therapy and psychiatric mental health care. This role combines psychiatric medication management with medical weight loss and hormone replacement therapy, offering full clinical autonomy over scheduling and caseload while working alongside our therapy team to deliver integrated, whole-person care.
About UsCollaborative, Modern, and Diverse Community Mental Health Clinic in Canton, MA and Dedham, MA. We are a team of practitioners who provide psychotherapy and medication management to individuals and families. All of our clinicians receive: office support, remote/telehealth availability, billing management, individual and group/peer supervision, flexible scheduling, intake management, electronic health records access, and credentialing support.
CompensationUp to $200,000 annually. Fee for Service Profit Sharing model (Percentage based), clinician payout increases as insurance billing rates increase annually.
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner license
- Dual board certification: PMHNP-BC (ANCC) and FNP-BC or FNP-C
- Active Massachusetts DEA license in good standing
- Ability to practice with the applicable level of autonomy under Massachusetts NP practice laws (full practice authority, or collaborative agreement as required)
- Current, valid professional liability (malpractice) insurance
- Strong documentation skills and comfort with independent, self-directed scheduling
- Minimum [2+] years of clinical NP experience; prior experience in psychiatric medication management and weight loss/hormone therapy strongly preferred
- Additional training/certification in obesity medicine or hormone/age management medicine
- Experience with telehealth service delivery
- Familiarity with prior authorization processes for GLP-1 and hormone medications
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing medication treatment for mood, anxiety, ADHD, and related conditions
- Perform intake assessments for weight management patients, including metabolic history and treatment readiness
- Prescribe and manage GLP-1/GIP receptor agonist therapy with appropriate monitoring and titration
- Evaluate and manage hormone therapy (testosterone, estrogen/progesterone, thyroid, etc.) based on labs, symptoms, and patient goals
- Order and interpret relevant labs (metabolic panels, hormone panels, lipid panels, HbA1c, etc.)
- Develop individualized treatment plans integrating psychiatric, weight, and hormonal care
- Monitor for side effects, drug interactions, and treatment response; adjust plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in the practice EHR supporting medical necessity and billing
- Coordinate as clinically appropriate with therapists and other providers at the practice (with client consent)
- Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, and long-term maintenance
