QC Lab Technician

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QC Lab Technician to join our Quality team. In this role, you will perform laboratory testing and quality inspections to ensure our products meet established specifications and customer expectations.

Hours:

8 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Overtime when available. Pay: $22/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine quality testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Conduct inspections and document production quality parameters throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate incoming raw materials and semi-finished materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment such as balances, tensile testers, and spectrophotometers to perform testing and analysis.
  • Enter and maintain laboratory-generated data using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
  • Follow company environmental policies, work practices, and safety procedures, and report concerns that may impact safety, the environment, or company property.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Background/

Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to perform repetitive testing and inspection activities.
